So it's been awhile. :)

Jaxon-Cecil Wyatt McGhee was born on January 11, 2010 at 9:36 am. He weighed 6 pounds, 2 ounces and was 20 inches long. My c-section went well, though it always takes me some time to come out of the fog of medication. I spent most of the actual surgery vomiting into a pink bowl. :) But he's here and healthy and we're thrilled!

The last four weeks have been almost a blur. We had visitors for the first several days (or blessings really, I never would have been able to get through those first few days without my mom!) and Adam was off work for two weeks. He's since gone back to work (though not for the last several days thanks to the blizzard of 2010!) and the boys and I are just trying to figure out how everything works.

Adisson is an enormous help. He is a lifesaver, especially when Adam's at work. He's always willing to help out with Jax and does pretty good at entertaining Zander as well. Zander is just smitten with Jaxon. He talks to him all day, shows him toys, gives him high fives, touches him, kisses him...he's in love. :) I've been very fortunate to have the big boys be so accepting to my little teeny guy, it's made things transition pretty well.

Adisson's been doing school, albeit a much lighter workload. I had everything organized before Jax arrived, so it's been really easy to just have him work on what I've already prepared. We're trying another "Download 'n Go" from Amanda Bennett and The Old Schoolhouse Magazine this week for Valentine's Day and I wish I could say I liked it more. I hate that I spent money on it since I've already seen a free one and we didn't like it, I don't know why I thought that would change.
